Instructions
Step 1
Install Windows CE 5 on your navigator, it is a special shell designed for GPS navigators. Download the shell installation files and connect the navigator to the computer, and then copy all the information from the memory card to the hard drive. Format your SD card to install Windows on your navigator.
Step 2
Unpack the downloaded archive to any folder. Copy the navigation software to the appropriate paths. Insert the memory card into the navigator. Write all the shell settings in the Addons.txt file.
Step 3
Note that the menu buttons are in reverse order. The set of icons is in the Data.zip archive file. Write in the Autostart section a list of applications that will be launched automatically when Windows starts on the navigator. In the Modules section, add the modules located in the main menu.
Step 4
Install the Active Sync PC synchronization application on your computer to prepare the Windows installation on your navigator, and you will also need the Registry Workshop registry editor. Launch the navigator and connect it to the computer, go into it, make sure that the explorer.exe file is in the Windows folder. Open the Registry Workshop program, click on the shortcut "Mobile device", the screen will display the registry of the navigator.
Step 5
Go to the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / init, find the Launch50 line there, change the value of this key to explorer.exe and restart the navigator. Go to the registry editor, find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / system / Explorer / Shell Folders branch there, change the values of the Desktop and Programs keys, respectively, to ResidentFlash / Desktop, as well as ResidentFlash / Programs. To manage the list of programs used in the shell, go to the main menu, select Run, and enter the ResidentFlash2 command.
