The "Weather Forecast from MTS" service can be disabled via the Internet. To do this, in the search box of Google or Yandex, type the word "MTS", then select the first from the proposed options, because it is the official website of the company. For ease of use, create a personal account on the website, where you can see, in addition to your account balance, the entire package of connected services. In your personal account, under the "Weather Forecast" service, double-click the "Disable service" icon. The weather forecast will be disabled.
Step 2
If you do not have the Internet, you can turn off the weather forecast using your cell phone. Dial the key combination * 111 * 4751 #, then click on the call. After these actions, you will receive a notification that the "Weather Forecast" service is disabled.

To deactivate the service, use an SMS message. Send the number “2” to 4741 (the number in the message is written without quotes). If your phone is located in your home region, i.e. in the area where the SIM card is registered, there is no charge for sending SMS. After sending a message from the MTS operator, you will receive a response about disabling the "Weather forecast" service. Provided that you are in intranet or international roaming, the SMS message about the deactivation of the service will be paid. Its cost will depend on the conditions of communication in roaming, according to your tariff plan.

Also, to deactivate this kind of services, you can directly contact the MTS operator, the support service for cellular subscribers by calling 0890. Calls from a cell phone will be free. Then follow the instructions of the mobile consultant, with the help of which you can deactivate the "Weather Forecast from MTS" service. After the connection with the MTS help is completed, press the number "2" on the phone keys, then "0". This will contact a contact center specialist. Tell him about your request and he will deactivate the service on your mobile phone.
