An audio track can be connected to a video file in cases when you want to add an alternative file to a movie or TV series and downloaded it separately from the video. Most modern players support this option.

Instructions
Step 1
First, determine for which application you need to connect the audio file. If you use Media Player Classic, then copy the audio track in *.aac, *.mp3, *.wav formats to the folder with the video file in *.mpg, *.avi, *.mov format. The file name must be the same as the video. It is sufficient that the filenames have a common origin. For example, movie.avi, movie is a Russian translation. ac3.
Step 2
Open the movie in Media Player Classik, to connect the audio track, right-click in the application window. Select Audio from the context menu. In this menu, the connected track will be available - select it and watch the movie.
Step 3
Connect the audio track without renaming the files, to do this, select the "File" - "Open file" menu, then a window opens, in the first line select the video file, in the second - the audio track file. Click Open. While watching a movie, select the Audio command from the Play menu and change the audio track.
Step 4
Launch the Light Alloy program to connect the audio track in it, press the F10 button. Go to the "Sound" tab. Select two in the field “Sound output and default track”, then check the box “Load the same name.wav,.mp3,.ogg,.wma file”. Click "OK", close the application.
Step 5
Open the video - the audio track should connect. To mix it with the original, press the key combination Ctrl + A, in the window that opens, enable both tracks and set the required volume for each of them separately, for example, the original sound is quieter, and the translation is louder.
Step 6
Connect a track without renaming files. To do this, open the movie, press Alt + A. Select the file you want. Use the same key combination to control the connected audio files.
