The choice of a place for installing a washing machine is due not only to the availability of free space, but also to some requirements for the operation of the device, its dimensions. Where can this useful unit be placed in a modern apartment?
The most traditional place is, of course, the bathroom. This choice is due to the simplicity of connecting the washing machine to water and sewage, and the ability to close the door, thus reducing the washing noise, also plays an important role.
Even in a very small bathroom, you can find a place for a washing machine, since today there are enough models available for installation under the sink. If there is even a little space, you can install a top-loading washing machine.
Another fairly popular option is to place this useful appliance in the kitchen. The advantages of such an installation are that, with an equally simple connection, you can hide the unit in a kitchen set.
Happy owners of a large number of square meters can be advised to order a special cabinet for a washing machine. Why is it worth doing this? On the one hand, the machine will be hidden in stylish furniture, on the other, in the upper part of the cabinet it will be possible to store household chemicals and collect dirty laundry.
Less popular places for a washing machine are considered to be a corridor, a pantry, a loggia. Usually, the car is placed in these rooms only when there is very little space in the kitchen and in the bathroom (with the exception of the pantry, if it is located behind the wall from the bathroom). To install a washing machine in the corridor, it is worth building a plasterboard structure or ordering a wardrobe. The balcony or loggia will have to be insulated with high quality so that the unit is not damaged by temperature changes.
Plan the placement of the washing machine at the renovation stage so that it does not turn out that some of the furniture or even the room needs to be redone.
