Headsets are used to transfer data from the phone to the headphones, thereby relieving a person from the need to constantly hold the phone in their hands while talking. Like any other device, headsets are disassembled.
Necessary
- - small Phillips screwdriver;
- - not a sharp knife.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to disassemble a wireless Bluetooth headset, first download the diagram of your particular device model. This is necessary if you have not previously dealt with the disassembly of such devices, headphones and microphones, and will also allow you to foresee aspects regarding the differences between your model and others.
Step 2
Examine the body of your wireless headset carefully for plugs that hide the connectors. Often manufacturers use special glue instead of them, in this case, disassembly will be impossible. Unscrew all visible fasteners and disconnect all internal components from the board. Be extremely careful as they are soldered in some cases.
Step 3
If, nevertheless, you decide to disassemble the model, the body of which is glued, pry the joint of the body parts with a non-sharp knife and lightly hit it. You don't have to make much effort if you need the headset later on.
Step 4
In order to disassemble the wired headset, remove the microphone housing by prying it off with a plastic card, a non-sharp knife or flat screwdriver, then remove the headphones by removing their housings in the same way. When disassembling a wired headset, be especially careful with small parts of the headphones, since the wires are soldered to the speakers, try not to damage their connection.
Step 5
If you want to disassemble a headset with large headphones, remove all visible plugs from their case, then unscrew all the bolts and disassemble the device. Also, be extremely careful with the speaker wire connections. Disassemble on a covered surface so as not to lose small component parts, also fold all the fastening bolts separately, because if you lose them, it will be quite problematic to find new ones.
