Cell phone users know perfectly well what a SIM card is. A small piece of plastic, without which the phone stops functioning and becomes, at best, just a player. But sometimes it is still necessary to remove the SIM card. How can iPhone owners do this?
Necessary
- -cell phone iPhone;
- -key for iPhone;
- -clip.
Instructions
Step 1
The first thing to do is turn off your phone. The iPhone, like any other complex and synchronized technique, does not like very much when something does not happen according to the instructions. Press and hold for about 5 seconds that single on / off button, which is located on the upper rim of the case, above the display. When you see the Slide to power off label, slide your finger across it to turn off your iPhone.
Step 2
After the phone turns off, inspect the device. Remember that Apple has not provided a removable cover for the iPhone, so you don't have to open the back cover to remove the SIM card. Many other phone models do require a battery. But that's not the case on the iPhone.
Step 3
Locate the external iPhone SIM slot between the headphone and charging inputs. Take a special key, which the iPhone manufacturer Apple began to produce with the device, starting with the iPhone 3G model. Gently but firmly insert the key into the small hole in the slot and press down. The slot cover should spring back and the SIM card should pop out. Try not to drop the card down, especially if you decide to carry out the operation to replace the SIM card outdoors. The size of the plastic microcard is very small, as the name suggests. Therefore, finding her after the fall will not be easy.
Step 4
If there is no special key from Apple, then call on your ingenuity and imagination to help. Take an ordinary paper clip. Bend it slightly at a slight angle and press down using instead of a key (you can use a pin with a rounded tip).
