PIN-code is a personal identification number that protects the SIM card from being turned on and used by persons who do not own the number, for example, in the event of theft. It is assigned to each card and can be replaced by the subscriber himself. You can find out the number from the documents for the SIM card. In particular, such information can be obtained from the documents for the SIM card of the MTS operator.
Instructions
Step 1
Upon purchase, the SIM card was attached to a rectangular piece of plastic. On this plastic, under and above the area to be erased, the words are written: PIN1, PIN 2, PUK1, PUK2. Use your fingernail or the edge of a coin to erase the area under the word PIN1.
Step 2
By default, the factory PIN1 code can be 0000, 1234 or a similar simple combination of numbers. Type one of these combinations as a code.
Step 3
If you replace the factory PIN-code with a more complex one, write it down in a place where no one can read it. Never store the code with your phone. At best, don't write it down at all, but memorize the code.
Step 4
If you are not the formal owner of the number, contact him and find out all the phone codes. Replace them and write down the new codes in a safe place.
