The MTS SIM card has two codes. PIN and PUK codes - digital passwords to protect your mobile phone. Together with the SIM card, they are sent to subscribers in a sealed envelope.
Necessary
MTS subscriber documents, passport, code word
Instructions
Step 1
If you have forgotten or lost your PIN or PUK, you can find out the codes of your SIM in several ways: either carefully read all the papers that you received with the SIM card, or visit the MTS showroom, or contact the MTS contact center.
Step 2
Codes are provided only to the owner of the room. In order to find out them, it is necessary to provide the MTS employees with passport data or write a code word, if one was originally set.
Step 3
If your SIM card is blocked, you must enter the PUK code received in the kit with the SIM card when connecting to the MTS network. There are 10 attempts to dial the PUK code. If all of them were not correct, the card is blocked completely. In this case, the MTS subscriber will have to receive a new SIM card. However, the phone number is saved and the SIM card is issued free of charge.
