The interest of many users in Honor is quite high. After its release in May 2019 in London, the Honor 10 smartphone almost immediately became a bestseller of the Amazon UK online store. Is it worth the attention of consumers and is there a need for it?
Design
The appearance of the smartphone is quite attractive. In front, most of the area is occupied by the screen. There are minimal frames on the sides. Above is a front camera in the form of a drop and a speaker, below is a fingerprint scanner.
The back panel is completely covered with glass, pleasant to the touch. There are no fingerprints or smudges on it, but if you carry the device in your pocket along with small change or keys, then there is a high probability of scratches on it. Therefore, it is best to carry your phone in a transparent case, which, by the way, is included in the kit.
It's also worth noting that the lens on the back of the phone sticks out. If you wear the device without a case, the camera may be damaged.
The fingerprint sensor is located below the screen and is indicated by a dotted line. It works fairly quickly and without interruption. It should be noted that the module does not recognize wet fingers.
The buttons for turning on / off and changing the volume are on the same side. But their problem is that they are very responsive to pressing, and it would be better to make them a little stiffer.
Camera
The main camera consists of two lenses. The first has 24 MP and is responsible for detail, the second has 16 MP and an RGB sensor, that is, it is responsible for the color palette. The main problem with shooting in light is that the photos come out too bright. Natural colors are not reproduced and this greatly degrades the image quality.
The front camera has 24 MP. There is autofocus, thanks to which the face, hair and torso are determined separately, and the background becomes a little blurred. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the user does not have to bother about setting the focus - everything will happen automatically here.
The camera can shoot videos in maximum quality 4K at 30 frames per second, as well as in FullHD (1080p) at 60 frames per second. Good stabilization is worth noting. The camera shoots video well, especially for its level. Here autofocus can be constantly rebuilt, everything will depend on the lighting.
