Despite the fact that the presentation of Honor View 30 Pro took place back in November 2019, the device has been officially delivered to Russia since March 2020. Has the smartphone lost its relevance and is there a need for it?
Design
Not much has changed since the previous Honor View 20 Pro. The developer still does not touch the width and weight of the smartphone, only the dimensions have been changed - 162.7 x 75.8 x 8.8 mm. However, it sits quite well in the hand, the brush does not get tired of working with it, although the device seems rather heavy - it weighs 206 grams, and this is not the lowest indicator
The back panel is made of frosted glass, and this solution can be considered a good one. In addition to the beautiful and austere appearance, it is worth clarifying the absence of fingerprints and smudges on the rear panel. The smartphone does not require a case, which means that the attractive appearance will be visible to everyone.
In Russia, devices are sold in two colors: black and blue. The latter shimmers beautifully in the sun and looks pretty good overall. There are two front cameras located on the top left corner of the front panel. Despite the desire to leave the main area of the screen, the location is extremely unfortunate - the notification bar is truncated, and in general, the lens is not needed to blur the background. The software should cope with this task.
There are no complaints about the rest - the build quality is high, there are no flaws.
Camera
On the back there is a module with three lenses. Each of them has its own role, and in a bundle you get really good photos. The main wide-angle lens has 40 megapixels and is responsible for the color palette and focus. The second one is 8 MP, required for optical zoom. And the third ultra-wide-angle lens has 12 MP and is responsible for greater image coverage.
Each of them does a pretty good job - there are some drawbacks in the form of extra shadows, but overall the result is not bad.
At night, the photos also look decent - the color palette and the main subject of the image are preserved.
Even by 2020 standards, this is a pretty good camera that can be compared to the Samsung Galaxy S10 camera.
The front camera has 32 and 8 MP. There is a blurring effect of the background, and the quality is significantly increased. Movies can be shot in full 4K quality at 60 frames per second.

The Honor View 30 Pro is powered by an eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor paired with a Mali-G76 MP16 GPU. Although the operating system here is Google Android 10.0, Google services must be installed separately. The RAM is 8 GB, the internal memory does not vary - 256 GB. You cannot expand it using memory cards. Li-Pol 4100 mAh battery, 40 W fast charging (70% in 30 minutes) and 27 W wireless charging. The average price of a smartphone is 36,990 rubles.
