Last year in London, Honor held a presentation of new smartphone models, including the Honor 20 Pro. But is it worth the attention of consumers and is there a need for it?
Design
The appearance of the Honor 20 Pro looks quite solid and strict. The gradient coating on the back shimmers brightly in the sun. Thanks to the dimensions 155 × 74 × 8, 4 mm, the smartphone sits very well in the hand and does not slip. Since its weight is quite small - only 182 grams, the hand does not get tired of working with the device.
However, a significant drawback is the camera module, which sticks out strongly from the body. This will cause scratches and damage, so a case is essential for a smartphone.
The fingerprint scanner is built into the smartphone's power button. It works fast enough, almost instantly reacts to the finger and releases the blockage.
On the front, the camera is located in the upper left corner. Due to the absence of frames and "bangs", the screen occupies 91 percent of the entire area of the front panel.
The device has no protection from moisture and dust. The device supports the ability to work with two SIM-cards, but it does not even support a microCD memory card of its own production, which is rather strange.
The smartphone is available in two colors: Phantom Blue and Phantom Black.
Camera
The front camera has 32 MP, there is electronic stabilization, but there is no autofocus. As for the main camera, it has four lenses: 48 Mp (f / 1, 4) + 16 Mp (f / 2, 2) + 8 Mp (f / 2, 4) + 2 Mp (f / 2, 4) … The first lens is coated, it is needed for laser autofocus and optical stabilization. The second module is ultra wide angle. It is needed for more coverage.
The third module uses a telephoto lens. Thanks to him, you can zoom in on the object several times. At the same time, the quality will remain and will be high enough
As for videos, the main camera can shoot in 4K quality at a frequency of 30 frames per second. If we consider HD (1080p), then here the frequency will increase to 60 frames per second. The video shows extremely good detail and excellent autofocus, which works almost without errors.
Specifications
The smartphone runs on an eight-core SoC Huawei Kirin 980 in conjunction with a GPU Mali-G76 MP10. The phone's RAM is 8 GB, the internal memory is 256 GB, but it will not be possible to expand it, since the Honor 20 Pro does not support a microSD memory card.
There is no 3.5mm port for wired headphones, while there is NFC. The phone has an extremely capacious 4000 mAh battery with support for SuperCharge fast charging. The device can be actively used throughout the day, and it will be discharged only at the end of the day.
