Owners of new phones often face an unforeseen difficulty - the impossibility of deleting numbers from a SIM card. It is easy to delete numbers from the memory of the phone itself, but the SIM card is not cleared. How to deal with this?

Step 1
The easiest and most reliable way is to take out the SIM card and insert it into any old phone. Unlike modern iPhones, in the old phone, you can delete numbers from a SIM card completely freely, if it is not locked and protected by a password. If the phone requires a password, enter the numbers indicated in the document on the SIM card. After that, you will have full access to it.
Step 2
If this is not possible, try the following: go to the contacts menu and find the folder with the SIM card numbers. Then go to the menu and select "Delete all". The address book will be cleared, but you will not be able to delete the service numbers of the mobile company, for example, "Beep" for MTS. It is almost impossible to remove them from the SIM card.
Step 3
Try to get rid of unnecessary phone contacts one by one by selecting them in the phone book and deleting them. Even if they are not in the phone's memory, but recorded on the SIM card, they should still be deleted.
Step 4
In some, mostly old phone models, there is another opportunity to solve the problem. Go through the following path: card contacts manager, start-> settings -> system-> menu -> SIM card settings. Select the desired contact, press and hold the button. A menu will open in front of you: edit, delete, send, save. That is, you will be able to painlessly remove any of the SIM card contacts.
Step 5
Use a special program that allows you to edit contacts on a SIM card. It's called HTC SIM Manager. Install it on your phone, and you can edit and delete any entries in the phone book.
