The Internet connected on your phone allows you to access the network whenever you want. You can check email, chat on social networks and use your phone as a navigator.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out - is it possible to connect the Internet as such on your phone model? You can find out this in the list of technical characteristics of your device. In addition, there are several types of connections: Wi-Fi, EDGE, GPRS and WAP. Connecting each of them has certain nuances, but the general principles of setting up the mobile Internet are the same. For example, a Wi-Fi connection, in addition to a properly connected phone, requires an active access point in the coverage area of the mobile device.
Step 2
There are two ways to set up the Internet on a mobile device. The first one is to send an SMS to a short number and save the received message as the "default" settings. Second, you can get access to the network by filling in all the fields in the "Internet connections" menu with your own hand.
Step 3
The first field requires you to enter the name of the connection itself. Everything is simple here: as the name of the network, the English-language name of your operator is indicated with the addition of the word "Internet". Examples: MTS Internet, Beeline Internet, etc. Then you need to fill in the home URL of the connection you want to connect. In fact, this is the home page of each mobile operator (mts.ru, megafon.ru).
Step 4
In the item "Proxy server" you will be offered a choice of "On / Off". Disable access to it. Each Internet connection has its own unique address - you will have to look at it on the operator's website and drive in numerical values into the "IP address" field.
Step 5
The name of the Internet access point has a single form - internet. (Name of your operator).ru. In order to increase the level of security of access to the network, you are required to enter a login and password to access the Internet from a mobile phone. They can also be found on the official website of the company that provides you with cellular services.
