Install the copier on a separate table so that vibrations arising during its operation are not transmitted to nearby system units and servers. Vibration can be detrimental to hard drives. The table must also be strong to withstand this vibration, and the table top must be strictly horizontal and not slippery.

Make sure that the machine is not located in a place where office workers are constantly. It emits ozone during operation, so it is necessary that employees approach it only for the time necessary to use it, and then move away to a safe distance.

If you expect frequent long-term use of the copier, place a chair or chair next to it, since prolonged work while standing is also not harmless. Periodically check the quality of the ozone filter in the device using special ozone analyzers (they are expensive, but are provided by specialized companies for rent).

If the machine is a color and high quality one, protect it from unauthorized switching on to prevent it from being used for counterfeiting documents and banknotes. Keep a strict record of the copies made with it.

Position the copier so that any of its covers can be opened without moving it. If it has a movable top cover, make sure that surrounding objects and walls do not interfere with its movement.

Connect the machine only to a properly grounded power outlet with a sufficient capacity for its current consumption. The same requirement applies to extension cords. The total load of the extension cord must not exceed that for which it is designed.

Be sure to place a sign at the location where the copier is installed, urging employees not to forget to remove the originals from it after copying.
