Step 1
To send an SMS to a mobile phone, use the official website of the operator that owns the recipient's SIM card. Megafon, MTS, Beeline and TELE 2 provide the opportunity to send ten free SMS every day from one IP. Use the following forms to send messages to subscribers:
- Megaphone: www.sendsms.megafon.ru
- MTS: www.mts.ru/messaging/sendsms
- Beeline: www.beeline.ru/sms/index.wb
- Tele 2: www.sms.tele2.ru/ Please note that in the special drop-down list located on each of these sites, you need to select your region, if it is not automatically installed
Step 2
The second way is to download a special PC client for short messages. One of such clients is Mail. Ru Agent. You need to register a mailbox on the site www.mail.ru and follow the link www.agent.mail.ru. Here you need to download the distribution kit of the program for Windows or Mac OS X, depending on your operating system, and install it on your computer. After installation, run the program. After starting, you will need to enter the name and password of the account you created on Mail.ru. Once you confirm your login, select the "Add Contact" link
Step 3
In the window that appears, pay attention to the lowest links and select "Add contact for calls and SMS". Enter in the small window all the required information (Name, phone, additional phone numbers) and click OK. Now the contact will appear in a special list from where you can send free SMS to your phone. Double-click on the contact's name to open a window for entering a message, and then click the "Send" button.
