The number of games that require an internet connection is increasing every day. If the wired internet connection is already standard, i.e. does not cause connection problems, the wireless connection may still cause problems. The basic wireless connection of Play Station 3 will be described below.

Step 1
In order to connect the PS3 game console to the Internet, you need to check the following parameters:
- do you know exactly your SSID (the name assigned to your connection);
- whether the router is accurately configured to broadcast your SSID so that the PS3 can recognize the connection;
- do you know your WEP key or WPA key exactly, if the connection may have such a key.
If you are not sure about your SSID or WEP key, then talk to someone who could set up a Wi-Fi connection (you can contact your provider).

In the main menu of the PS3 game console, go to the "Settings" section, select the "Network Settings" item, then select "Internet Connection" - then the "Enable" item.
Step 3
Go to "Internet Connection Settings", press the X button. Press the "Yes" button.
Step 4
If you select "Setup Method", select "Simple". Among all the methods of connection, you must select the item "Wireless".
Step 5
In the new window, select "Scan". You will be presented with a list of available wireless connections that are available at your location. Focus the cursor on your SSID, then press the X button. You must press the right button to continue setting. Press the right button, not X. Otherwise, a window for editing your SSID will appear.
Step 6
Select the type of key that you will use to complete the connection. If you do not have such a security key, then you should select "None" - press the X button. To save, press the X button and start checking.
Step 7
If you have a key that has been activated beforehand, select WEP or WPA-PSK. You can call the keyboard and enter the key by pressing the X button. To close the keyboard, use the START button. Use the right button to continue.
Step 8
Save the parameters and proceed to the test by pressing the X button.
Step 9
Select Test Connection. A successful connection check indicates that you are connected to the Internet.
