Nokia mobile phones are built from reliable components that will last for years without interruption. But if you fall in such a device, the display may break, and in a phone with a sliding or folding design, after several years of operation, the loop may wear out. To replace these parts the mobile phone will have to be opened.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure your phone is out of warranty. Disconnect the device from peripheral devices: charger, computer, wired headset, etc. Disconnect its power supply. Remove the battery from it, and then the SIM card, and if you have a memory card, remove it. When opening the phone for the first time, work under the supervision and guidance of an experienced repairman.
Step 2
Using a special set of screwdrivers (ordinary Phillips will not work - they can irreversibly damage the slots), remove all the screws. Some of them can be located under the linings. Attach all screws to the magnet. Memorize or sketch which one was located where.
Step 3
On a foldable or sliding phone, first disassemble the cover. Just lift up the half of the case that has the transparent display window on it.
Step 4
If the display is to be replaced, do not disassemble anything except the cover. Disconnect its connector, carefully remove the indicator by the edges, install the correct side with the other of the same type, and then attach it.
Step 5
If the loop changes, continue disassembling. For a sliding phone, slide the cover so that you can access the additional screws on the base. Turn them out too. Open the base.
Step 6
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the cover board. If it is sliding, remove it from the sled. Disconnect the opposite end of the ribbon cable from the base board. If the front camera is directly on the ribbon cable, move it to the new one with the correct orientation in the connector. Examine the old train and bend the new one as well. Connect the latter to the base board, then put the cover on the slide, slide it to the position where the window opens, and thread the ribbon through it. Lay it down correctly and connect it to the cover plate.
Step 7
After assembling the phone in the reverse order, install all the removed elements into it. Check if it works.
