Recently, on the market of cellular devices and accessories for them, you can easily find a fake. This also applies to Nokia products, since the products of this manufacturer are in great demand and therefore attempts to forge them are quite common. If you have purchased a Nokia battery, you can check its authenticity.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the official Nokia website, in the support section. Navigate to the battery authentication page. For the European Nokia site, this information can be found at https://europe.nokia.com/support/learn-how/check-your-battery/hologram-and-code. Nokia's official website is located at nokia.ru. You can find a lot of useful information.
Step 2
Remove the battery from the cell phone after turning off the device. Examine the battery and find a hologram on the battery case. The well-known company logo must be displayed on the hologram. If the logo, a sample of which you can see by following the link in step 1, is not on the sticker, then you have purchased a fake battery.
Step 3
Check for special dots on the hologram. According to the directions on the official website, there should be one, two, three and four dots on the left, right, bottom and top of the sticker, respectively. If there are no such dots on your sticker, then you have purchased a fake battery. Contact the nearest Nokia center, whose addresses are located on the official website. For Russia, the nearest service center can be found at
Step 4
If you are convinced that you have purchased counterfeit products, feel free to contact a retail outlet. If the seller refuses to return the money and accept the goods back, ask for quality certificates for batteries - they are mandatory for this type of product. As practice shows, users of cellular devices often buy low-quality products. To buy a battery from an official supplier, you need to order all products on the official website by mail.
