Before you start using Megafon services, you need to activate a new SIM card. This will mean that you agree with all the terms of the concluded agreement.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a SIM card at one of the sales points of the mobile operator "Megafon", carefully fill out the proposed contract form, which you will find in the box. Enter in it the number of the purchased SIM card, the name of the selected tariff plan, your name, surname, patronymic and passport data. Often a passport is required, so grab it before going for a SIM card. The concluded agreement will be in duplicate, one of which will be given to the operator of the office where you bought the card. Activation will be automatic within 24 hours, in rare cases a little more.
Step 2
From any phone call the Megafon's free reference number 8-800-333-05-00, if the card is suddenly not activated within 24 hours from the date of purchase. Explain the problem to the operator, tell me where, when, where and by whom it was purchased.
Step 3
If you need instant activation of the SIM card, go to the Megafon office and contact the employee on duty with this problem. Then the process will only take a few minutes.
Step 4
In order to activate the SIM card yourself, you need a mobile phone with another card from Megafon. Dial the symbols * 121 * PUK * Number # and press the call button. You will find the PUK code on the plastic along with the SIM card, and the "number" is the phone number itself that needs to be activated.
Step 5
Go to the Internet in any available way, in the address bar of any browser, type https://sg.megafon.ru/, this is Megafon's Service Guide. Login is your phone number, and password is PUK code. Fill in the required data by submitting an application. In a few minutes, in response, you will receive an SMS message stating that your card has been activated.
