If you do not want to use your SIM card anymore, you can contact the office of the telecom operator from which the connection kit was purchased. In the event that the number was originally issued for you, then you just have to come to the office and take an identity document with you; if the number was registered for another person (for one of friends or relatives), then it will be necessary for its owner to come to the office (the one who entered into an agreement with the mobile operator).

Different telecom operators accept applications for blocking numbers in different ways. Subscribers of "Beeline", for example, after submitting an application will have to wait at least a day for it to take effect. But the clients of the Megafon company do not have to go to the office; they can simply call the customer support center toll-free number 0500 or 5077777 and block the SIM card.
Step 3
In addition, for subscribers who do not use their SIM card for 3-6 months (each mobile operator has its own inactivity period), the number is automatically blocked, even regardless of whether the funds were credited to the account or not. If, after a six-month period, the cardholder wants to activate it again, he will have to contact the operator's communication salon to restore the old number or purchase a new one (if the previous one has already been assigned to someone).
