Having a Sberbank bank card, you can not only withdraw incoming funds from it, but also pay directly, by bank transfer, for mobile services. This operation is carried out directly through the ATM.
Instructions
Step 1
Perhaps you are accustomed to the fact that you can withdraw cash from a Sberbank card through ATMs belonging to other banks, and often even without a commission. However, ATMs of third-party banks are unsuitable for non-cash payments from the same mobile service card. If you try to do this, any of them will give an error message. Therefore, you will have to find an ATM in the city that belongs to Sberbank. They are available at some metro stations, in large supermarkets, as well as in any branch of this bank.
Step 2
Insert the card into the ATM. After making sure that no one is following you, enter your PIN. If necessary, check the balance of the card in the usual way to make sure that it has sufficient funds to top up your phone account with the amount of your choice.
Step 3
After checking the balance, the ATM can either automatically return the card to you, or display a menu in which it is proposed to return the card or continue service. In the first case, insert the card back into the ATM, and in the second, select the second item in the menu. If the ATM asks for the PIN again, enter it again.
Step 4
Select in the ATM menu an item called "Payments", "Payment for services" or similar. A new menu will appear, in which select the "Cellular operators" item. In the next menu, select the name of your mobile operator. Specify the required region.
Step 5
Enter your phone number in the format shown on the screen, then select "Continue". Then enter the amount in rubles with which you want to replenish your phone account and click "Continue" again. A rather long pause will follow, after which you will be asked to check the entered data. Make sure they are correct and click "Continue" again, otherwise cancel the operation and try all over again.
Step 6
There will be another pause, after which the ATM will report the successful completion of the operation and print a receipt. In rare cases, an error message may follow instead. This situation is usually caused by preventive maintenance, so it is better to wait a few hours before repeating the operation.
Step 7
Regardless of the success of the operation, at the next stage the ATM will again display a menu with the items "Return card" and "Continue". Select the first, then take the card and check. Keep your receipt until you are sure that your phone account is actually funded. And if this does not happen, call the Sberbank support service at 8 800 555 55 50 and inform the operator about what happened.
