A memory card is a removable storage medium with a programmed capacity. At his own request, the owner can protect the data recorded on it from viewing and editing, but more often the activation of the lock occurs accidentally.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn off the device where the card is inserted. Otherwise, removing the card may lead to a short circuit and equipment damage.
Step 2
Remove the card, turn it towards you with a wide plane so that the cut corner is at the top right. Pay attention to the lever on the left at the top of the card.
Step 3
Most likely, the card looks like in the illustration, that is, the lever is down. Move the lever from the “Lock” position to the unlocked position by prying lightly with your finger. Do not press too hard to avoid damaging the card.
If your fingers are too rough, use a cotton swab or other soft object. It must have sufficient elasticity to act on the lever.
Step 4
Insert the card into the device and turn it on. Check the operability of the card and access to the information stored on it.
