For advertising purposes, the mobile operator Megafon connects various subscriptions (mailings) to its subscribers. They are not always free. To prevent excess money from being debited from the phone owner's account, such services must be disabled.
Instructions
Step 1
Manage unsubscribing from unnecessary mailings using the Service Guide service. Go to the official Megafon website. Enter the "Personal Account" section, enter your mobile phone number as a login. Send a USSD request to find out the password. In the menu for managing subscriptions and services, find out which options are connected to the number. Disable unnecessary ones by checking the box next to the line. Save the entered settings.
Step 2
To manage mailings, use USSD commands (you don't need to go online for this). Send an empty message to the short number 9090. In response, you will receive an SMS with a request to confirm the deactivation of the "Mobile Advertising" service. Don't worry: sending this message to the specified number is completely free. However, if you are in the roaming coverage area, the amount will be automatically debited from your mobile phone account according to the current tariff plan.
Step 3
Disable mailing through the service "Sim-portal", which offers its subscribers "Megafon". Find the "Kaleidoscope" section in it and select "Disable mailings". Confirm the command entry.
Step 4
If you have subscribed to the newsletter via the Internet, do not try to disable them through self-service services or communication salons. You fail to do this. Each message - mailing list will contain the address of the site on which you issued it, indicating your phone number. Go to the main page, find the "Mailings" section, open it. Follow the instructions on the menu to configure the opt-out of this subscription.
