Step 1
Make sure that your phone allows you to set a ringtone to a subscriber, since in some models that were released more than 5 years ago, you cannot set a ringtone for individual contacts. In them you can set only a general melody for all calls. You can find out from the instructions for the device or by studying the contacts settings menu.
Step 2
Find the corresponding option in the menu of your phone. To do this, go to the "Settings" item, then select "Sound Options". In this submenu, you can perform various manipulations with the sound: turn down and turn up the volume, activate a vibration alert, select warning signals, etc. Pay attention to the item "Call signals". Click on it, after which you will be asked to choose one of the standard melodies or to put a melody on the subscriber from a flash card.
Step 3
If there are no files on the memory card, but you want to put some specific melody, you must first download it. Transfer it in MP3 format from your computer via USB cable or download it from the mobile internet. After that, the downloaded files will become available for installation as a ringtone. Check if the signal sounds good and is loud and clear enough.
