Video surveillance is almost a mandatory component of modern security requirements at protected facilities. It is difficult to find a company or enterprise that would not take advantage of this system, especially in large cities.
It is necessary
- - a computer with Internet access;
- - Any Video Converter program.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the required codecs on your computer. Usually, surveillance cameras come with original coding programs designed specifically for a specific surveillance system. You can try to find such codecs (if for some reason they are not included in the kit) on the Internet, focusing on the manufacturer.
Step 2
Play the video on the player recommended by the system. If the player installed on your computer for some reason does not read the video, download another one. See the format in which the video is saved, select a player that plays this format.
Step 3
Try to find some of the following players. They are the most common and play most of the popular video formats. Some of them are: Windows Media Classic, K-lite, KMPlayer, VLC. Video in surveillance systems is most often used in Mpeg4 or umv format.
Step 4
If you are unable to open the file in its original format, look for a way to transcode the video into the format that suits you. This can be done using special programs (Any Video Converter, ProCoder, Adobe Encoder, VirtualDub). Look for information on video transcoding on specialized forums and sites on the Internet.
Step 5
Use Any Video Converter for transcoding. To do this, open the video in the program (File-Import-Video). In the window that opens, specify the format in which you are going to translate the source file. Specify the folder on your computer where the received file should be saved. Start transcoding.
