Step 1
Find a hidden security camera. This can be done using a special device that sets the source of electromagnetic radiation. Despite the fact that video surveillance technology has made great strides in recent years, even the most advanced camera models can be detected by such a device.

You can order it online or purchase it from an electronics store. It is best to purchase high-sensitivity equipment - this is due to the fact that some models have an electromagnetic signal suppression system.
Step 3
Find the power supply for the CCTV camera and the distribution board, then simply turn off the power using the switch corresponding to the outlet. This is a rather long way, plus many modern models of cameras can be wireless, which also sometimes works against them - it is quite easy to detect a transmitted signal from a camera using a wireless connection technology. There are also special devices for finding it, which are available in stores in your city.
Step 4
If you have precisely established the location of the security camera, illuminate it with a laser or flash source, and only a white screen image will be transmitted to the computer. For reliability, you can use the flash several times; it is also recommended to do this if it is not bright enough.
Step 5
Please note that you can use a regular flashlight or mobile phone display with the bright backlight on and other light sources aimed at the lens. Do not forget that after a certain period of time the camera may recover and video surveillance will be carried out normally.
