This option has been around for about 20 years - in 1992, an engineer from the British company Vodafon sent his colleagues a Christmas message for the first time. Now this option has gained immense popularity.
Instructions
Step 1
To send an SMS message, you need to find out the ten-digit number of the addressee. Then go to the menu of your phone.

Find the parameter "Messages", click on it. A list will open before you, which will consist of items such as "Inbox", "New message", "Outbox" and others. Click on the "New message" tab. In the "Addressee" or "To" field, specify the recipient's number, you can also select it from contacts, for this open the "Contacts" tab and find the desired subscriber.
Step 3
Then go to typing. You can type it both in Latin letters and in Cyrillic. You can also use the predictive text system, that is, you just need to press the key with the desired letter once, and the system will offer you the resulting word variants.
Step 4
After the text is typed, click "Send" or "Ok". In the event that the "Delivery report" option is enabled on your phone, it will be delivered to you the moment the addressee receives your message.
Step 5
If you do not have a phone at hand, or your personal account has run out of funds, you can send an SMS message via the Internet. To do this, go to the official website of the operator whose subscriber is the addressee. For example, "Megafon".
Step 6
Once on the home page, find the "Send SMS" option. A window will open in front of you, where you will need to select the first 4 digits from the list, and dial the remaining six yourself. Next, enter the text of the message, it should not exceed 150 characters, at the end, enter the security code - two words from the picture, this is done to protect against spam. Click the Send option. Your message will be delivered to the addressee shortly.
