You have probably heard many times that aluminum cans are used as reflective and receiving elements of systems that are capable of processing signals. It is not known why, but banks are great for capturing a passing signal. The very first non-standard use of cans is mounting them on antennas. The signal is significantly increased several times. For a TV antenna, only 2 cans are enough, which should be soldered to the contacts of the coaxial cable.

So, you need any wi-fi equipment, it is advisable to take modems or routers that have a small antenna available. This is where the empty aluminum can will be attached. Take an empty jar. If not empty, buy from the store and empty it by pouring the contents into a glass. The can can be made from any drink: cocktail, beer or soda water. It is advisable to purchase a jar with a capacity of 0.5 liters.
Step 3
First you need to make two deep cuts with a sharp knife. One incision is on the bottom, the other incision will be parallel to it on the opposite side. After making the cut, it is necessary to cut off the bottom completely; use scissors to perform this operation. The upper part should not be completely cut. Also, do not tear off the can opener, it will be used as a holder.
Step 4
Straighten the edges of the can, it should take the shape of an arc. Place the jar on the antenna and try to connect the wi-fi device to the network.
