Short SMS messages can be exchanged when it is not very convenient to call. During meetings, or when your caller is roaming. After all, receiving and sending SMS messages is much cheaper than calling.
Instructions
Step 1
Short messages can be sent from a mobile phone to another mobile phone.
In order to send an SMS, you need to know the phone number of the subscriber to whom you want to send a message.
Step 2
A positive balance of your personal account is also important, because many mobile operators do not allow using the service of sending short messages with a negative balance. If you don't have money on your phone, you need to top up your account. Some operators provide a service for USDD inquiries when the account is negative, when your interlocutor receives a message like this: "Out of money, call back." Check the parameters of such requests with your operator, they usually differ.
Step 3
If the phone is active, then send an SMS. We go to the phone menu, scroll through it to the "Messages" directory, go inside. We select "New message", go inside, type the text of the message. After that, we press "Send", and either we drive in the phone number, or we are looking for the subscriber in the phone contacts entered earlier.
Step 4
You can also use a service such as sending SMS via the Internet. To do this, you need a computer with an internet connection. Go to the network, type the address of the official website of your telecom operator and look for the "Send SMS" button. Click on the button and get into the form for sending messages.
Step 5
Type in the subscriber's number into the top field (pay attention to the correct dialing of the number, the pattern is usually indicated in brackets), then type the message text into the text field. In the third field, drive in the numbers or letters that you see. This is done in order to exclude the sending of advertising messages (spam).
Step 6
After that press the "Send message" button.
