If you are the owner of a modern TV, connecting a USB flash drive to it will not be difficult. To do this, find the USB port on the TV and insert the drive into it. Most often this connector is located on the back of the TV.

Then turn on the TV, press the button on the remote control labeled TV / AV and switch the image to a signal from an external source. Here, in fact, the flash drive is connected, you can play the files you need.

There are a variety of modern TV models, and it is likely that your TV may not have a USB connector. But this is not a reason to be upset, because this problem can be solved in other ways.

You can also connect a USB flash drive using a DVD player with a built-in USB port. To do this, turn off the TV with the player and find the identical connectors on the connected devices. Then connect the connectors of the devices that match the color of the connectors of the connecting cable. The yellow connector is responsible for the video signal, and the white and red connector for the audio channels. Now connect both devices and insert the USB stick into the USB port of your DVD player.

Also, to connect a USB flash drive to a TV, you can use the media player, which replaced the DVD player. To do this, connect the media player to your TV using the supplied cable, which is included with the media player, or using an HDMI cable. After that, insert the USB flash drive into the USB connector of the media player.

Make sure the flash drive is fully plugged into the media player, as a poor connection will prevent the media player from recognizing the removable storage. After that, turn on the TV and set it to the input that is required to connect the media player. Take the remote control and use the arrow keys to scroll through the list of files. Press the Enter button to play the files you want.
