On the Vkontakte social network, it is possible to cancel a message sent to another user if it suddenly lost its significance. This can be done using one of the methods.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to your Vkontakte page and on the left side of the menu find the link "My messages" or "My friends", click on it. In the event that you do not have such links, change the settings. To do this, in the "My Settings" item, go to the "General" and "Additional Services" tabs and check the boxes that you want to be visible on the left side of your account. Now, cancel sending messages depending on the recipient.
Step 2
If you want to delete a message that was sent to someone from your friends list, find this person using the "My friends" tab and click the "Send message" link, which is located just below the photo. In the form that opens for writing the text, do not enter anything, but click on the link "Go to the dialogue" located in the lower left corner of the window. All correspondence with this person will open in front of you.
Step 3
Now delete the sent messages. To do this, right-click on the desired message so that a checkmark appears on the right, and click on the "Delete" item, which is located in the upper right corner. This method allows you to delete up to 20 messages at a time. If you delete any message by mistake, you can restore it by clicking on the link that appears after you delete it.
Step 4
To cancel sending a message to a person who is not in your friends list, go to your page on the Vkontakte social network and click on the "My messages" item. A form will open in front of you, at the top of which find and click on the "Sent" link. You will see a list of outgoing messages. You can delete them using the corresponding button located at the top of the menu or next to the sent message. This method allows you to delete up to 20 messages at a time.
