Step 1
A clear picture without gaps and ripples indicates high-quality TV reception. If you have problems with the picture, make sure it is not your TV (check all settings using your TV's instructions for use). If everything is in order with him, then try to strengthen the signal reception.
Step 2
Strengthening the satellite TV signal. Poor image may be due to the fact that the "plate" is simply lost. This usually happens after some kind of blow or gust of wind. In this case, tune the antenna to the satellite manually (rotate it in different directions and fix the satellite dish in the position at which the strongest signal will be caught). An external obstacle in the path of a TV signal can be either a tree branch or the roof of a neighboring house. Change the diameter of the antenna mirror by increasing it. This will not affect the number of received channels, but their quality should improve.
Step 3
Strengthening the signal of a conventional antenna. If you have an ordinary antenna, and suddenly the reception of the channels suddenly deteriorated, there may be several reasons. Try rotating the antenna in different directions (it should pick up the strongest signal, which will provide a high-quality image). Try to install the antenna so that there is a minimum of obstruction between it and the signal source. The best place for this is the roof of the house.
Step 4
You can also improve the reception of channels using an antenna amplifier. If it is out of order or it was not included with the antenna, buy a new one (tell the seller the model and brand of the TV and the type of antenna). Set the gain limit according to the noise level. To reduce their level, use a shielded reduction (connect the antenna to the TV with a coaxial cable).

If you have cable TV, then, most likely, there will be no serious problems with the image at all. In this case, you will not be able to improve the reception of channels on your own. You will need to contact the service company.
