Skype is a popular way to make video calls. With the expansion of the platform and the advent of devices that are capable of making video calls, the installation of Skype has become possible on portable devices with a built-in camera.
Installation via AppStore
For iPhone, the application manager is the AppStore program. Downloading programs for the device can also be done using the iTunes store, which is available for computers and with which you can not only install programs, but also manage the content stored on the device.
To install skype from your phone, open the AppStore. In the top search bar, enter the Skype request and click "OK". In the list of results, select Skype and click "Free" to download the program. When prompted to enter your Apple ID, fill in the required fields and click Sign In, then click Free again.
After pressing the button, wait until the program is installed on the phone, the progress of which you can watch on the main screen of the device.
If you do not have an Apple ID, you can register it by clicking on the "Create" button when you are prompted to enter the necessary data.
Installing in iTunes
To install the program via iTunes, you need to connect your iphone to your computer using the cable that came with the device. After connecting, a program window will appear, with which you can manage the contents of your device.
Go to the "Store" section and enter the query Skype in the search box. Select the most suitable application in the list of results, then click on the "Free" button and specify your account information when requested. The required program will be downloaded and will become available in the application control panel for your device.
To add a program, click on the iPhone button in the upper right part of the program window. Go to the application tab, then click "Synchronize" by checking the appropriate boxes in the window that opens. Wait for the operation to complete and disconnect the phone from the computer.
Launching the program
To launch the application, use the application icon that appears after installation on the desktop of the device. After downloading, you will see the program interface and a request to enter a username and password. Enter the data and click on the "Login" button on the screen.
If the accounts you don't yet, you will be able to create it directly on the phone using the link "Create an account" at the bottom of the screen.
After clicking, you will be asked to agree with the terms of the license agreement, after which you will be asked to set a username and password for the account. Click "Create Account" and then use the information provided earlier to sign in to your account.
