Some cameras can be used as a video player. Basically, this function is supported by those devices that have a video recording function. In most cases, this is not available to DSLR owners.

Instructions
Step 1
Check the documentation for your camera for the format in which the video is saved on your model. The video file you want to view on it must have the same extension. If you don't know what format the movie is in, turn on the display of the file extension on your computer. This is done through the Folder Options menu in the Control Panel.
Step 2
In the window that opens, go to the appearance settings on the second tab, uncheck the box next to "hide extension for registered file types", apply and save the changes. Look at the format of your movie in the title.
Step 3
If the files of this resolution are not supported by your camera, download the necessary video again in the appropriate resolution or convert the current file. Also consider parameters such as the screen resolution of the camera, as the video resolution may not be supported.
Step 4
If the video is not of the correct format or resolution, edit it with a converter program. They can be downloaded from the Internet; you can also use the standard tools included with the camera software, if available for your model of device.
Step 5
After you choose the program, specify the final resolution of the converted file, also set the resolution, aspect ratio and frame rate per second. It is best not to view HD quality video files in your camera if it does not support shooting in this format. If desired, configure the preservation or deletion of the original video, start the encoding process and wait until the end of the operation.
Step 6
Insert the memory card of the camera into the special adapter or, if this action is supported by your device model, connect the camera in the "Mass storage" mode. Copy the video to a USB flash drive and, disconnecting the device from the computer, play the movie in playback mode.
