You can create a virtual disk drive using a special application - an optical drive emulator. It allows you to make a virtual drive on a computer that simulates a real one and allows you to load virtual disks into it.

Instructions
Step 1
Download the Virtual CloneDrive software to create a virtual drive by going to https://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html. Run the installation file. During installation, select the types of files that the program will work with.
Step 2
Check the boxes next to the required types and click "Next". In the next window, click on the "Continue Anyway" button. After the installation is complete, in the lower right corner of the screen, right-click on the program icon and select "Settings". From the list in the item "Number of disks" select the required number of drives for emulation, click "OK". The drive is now complete.
Step 3
Make a floppy drive using the Deamon Tools program. Download the app from https://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon. Run the installation file and install the disk emulation program on your computer.
Step 4
Restart your computer for the changes to take effect. In the lower right corner of the screen, find the program icon. Right-click on it, select Virtual CD / DVD-ROM. In the menu, select the "Drive" item, in the next window, the "Mount Image" command. To add a virtual drive, select the "Number of disks" menu item and set the number you need. Wait while the program completes the creation of the virtual disk drive.
Step 5
Use the Alcohol 120% application to create a drive, for this, download the application from the link https://websofthelp.ru/news/131-alcohol-120.html. After installing and running the program, the drive will be created automatically. You can verify its presence by going to the "My Computer" window.
Step 6
To distinguish a virtual drive from a physical drive, you can change the drive letter for it as you see fit. To do this, go into the program and select the created drive, right-click on it, select "Change drive letter". In the window that appears, select the one you need from the list and click "OK".
