Pay attention to the front and back panels of the device. Chinese manufacturers do not always meet the standards for the thickness of smartphones and tablets, and the difference is usually noticeable (3-5mm). Some original smartphones have no back covers, while Chinese models are always removable.
Step 2
The hallmark of Chinese counterfeits is the presence of two SIM card slots. Originals always have only one slot. The fake body materials are significantly inferior to the original models: there is a backlash in the body, cheap plastic is unpleasant to the touch and emits a characteristic smell. In addition, pay attention to the marking of the case: modern models of HTC devices have a minimum of inscriptions, however, Chinese manufacturers like to label their smartphones with the full name of the device, the name of the company and the main characteristics of the model.
Step 3
The screen of Chinese counterfeits is immediately noticeable by a cheap matrix, which transmits faded color shades and distorts them. Most of the screens used are resistive (they respond to both finger pressure and other objects), although HTC exclusively uses capacitive screens (they can only be pressed with fingers).
Step 4
When you turn on a device from Chinese manufacturers, the default language is often Chinese or poorly localized Russian (functions are named such as "Blue tooth", "Insert sima", etc.). Counterfeit devices run out of power quickly as they come with cheap batteries. The complete set is completely absent or there are low-quality headphones and a charger. Also, signs that you have products from China are the presence of unnecessary applications and functions, such as a TV player, many games, etc. When trying to install applications from the Play Market, an unknown error message appears.
