To delete music from iPad, you can use both the interface of the tablet itself and the computer program iTunes, which is able to manage the melodies copied to the device. You can delete a single song or all files at once.
Instructions
Step 1
To delete music from the iPad, use the "Music" application, which can be invoked from the main menu of the device. Click on the "Music" icon and go to the "Albums" section or select the desired playlist.
Step 2
Find the song you want to remove from the tablet, and slide your finger across it from left to right. You will see the "Delete" button, which will allow you to erase the selected song from memory.

You can also use the phone settings menu to delete music. To do this, click on the "Settings" - "General" - "Statistics" section of your device. From the list of apps displayed on the screen, tap Music and select the Edit button. Use the button with the "-" sign on a red background. Click on the "Delete" button and confirm the operation, after which all music will be deleted.
Step 4
To delete all music through the sync tools in iTunes, connect your iPad to your computer using the supplied cable. After that, click on the name of your tablet in the upper right corner of the program.
Step 5
In the settings panel that appears, use the "Music" tab to go to the list of songs available on the device. If you want to delete all songs from your tablet, click on the checkmark next to "Sync Music" and then click "Delete".

If you want to remove music from a specific playlist on the device, uncheck the corresponding option on the Music page and confirm the operation.

To download new music instead of old, delete all songs from the iTunes library, which is located on the left side of the program menu. After that, add new songs from folders on your computer, and then click on the "Sync" button in the "Music" section of the device menu. All old files will be deleted from the tablet, and new ones will be written to the iPad memory.
