The technology of sending SMS to Russia from abroad is generally no different from whether you use a domestic SIM card or a local one. But if a mobile phone is purchased abroad, it may not support the Russian alphabet. In this case, you will have to type the message in Latin letters, or, as Internet users joke, “in Moldavian”.
Necessary
- - mobile phone;
- - sufficient balance to pay for SMS at the operator's rates.
Instructions
Step 1
Depending on the phone model, you can first enter the recipient's number (or select it from the contacts list) or SMS text. There are also models where this sequence of actions does not matter.
Step 2
The number must be entered strictly in the international format. In Russia, an eight is enough for this. Abroad, a prefix is required to access international calls.
In the CIS countries, this is usually a combination of numbers 8-10, in the far abroad - 00. There may be other options. But the easiest way is to type the "+" symbol on the keyboard.
Then enter the country code. For communication with Russia, this is the number 7.
If the number in the phone's address book is reflected in the internal Russian format (8 - operator code - subscriber number), erase the eight at the very beginning and insert the combination of characters "+7" instead.
Step 3
The further procedure for entering the number is identical when sending SMS within Russia: the three-digit code of the operator and the seven- - subscriber.
