If you are going on a hunt, fishing at night or as a watchman for some kind of object, you will need to have a night vision device with you. With its help, you can always keep the situation under control and find the items you need in the dark.

Necessary

2 glass plates, zinc sulfide, copper, tin chloride, silver, a mixture of sulfur and potassium dichromate, porcelain cup, SnCl2, electric oven, metal plate, tester, photoconductor, tweezers, varnish, rubber gloves, concentrated alkali solution, glass rod, crystals ZnS, wires, camera lens, biconvex lens

Instructions

Step 1

Dip the glasses in a mixture of sulfur and potassium dichromate. Let them sit for 4 hours and dry.

Step 2

Place the SnCl2 in a bowl and place in the oven. Fix the glasses at a distance of 10 cm above it.

Step 3

Cover the bowl with a metal plate and turn on the oven. After waiting for heating to 400 degrees, remove the plate.

Step 4

Wait for a conductive surface to form and leave the glass in the oven to cool. Test the coverage using a prepared tester.

Step 5

Apply varnish to one of the plates (the non-conductive side).

Then apply the photosemiconductor. Use tweezers for this action, while holding the plate vertically.

Step 6

Wearing gloves, pour the lye solution into a container with plates and mix using a glass tube.

Step 7

After 10 minutes, remove the plate and rinse it under running water, dry thoroughly.

Step 8

Put the silver in the cup and repeat the previous steps, only increasing the degrees to 900. Apply the coating to the plate, where there is a photosemiconductor.

Step 9

You have a mirror film. Next, prepare the phosphor using ZnS. You should get a colorless powder.

Step 10

Mix varnish and crystals. Pour this mixture over the silver-plated platinum to blend completely over the surface. Place the conductive plate on top and press down for the best fit.

Step 11

After applying the conductive coating, secure the wires to the edges of the plates.

Step 12

Seal and assemble the night vision device using a lens, a camera lens and the provided circuitry.
