A smartphone or, to translate literally, "smart phone", differs from conventional models in that it has an operating system, a much larger number of functions, a fast and powerful enough processor. Having your own operating system makes it possible not only to download various useful programs to your smartphone, but even create them yourself if you have the appropriate skills.
Instructions
Step 1
As a rule, in most models of smartphones, downloading the program is quite simple. In Symbian, connect the device with a cable to the computer, then go to the menu and select the "Install applications" item, where write the path to the location of the required program on the computer. A special program Ovi Suite will configure the necessary settings and unpack the application.
Step 2
Alternatively, you can simply connect your phone to your PC as a mass storage device and then save a.sis or.sisx file to it. The file manager will help you to go to the folder where the program is located, run it. This will initiate the installation process, during which it remains to fulfill the requirements of the installer.
Step 3
In devices with Android installed, after connecting the device to a PC, enter the desired program from Google in the search bar and click on "Install".
Step 4
You can also download third-party applications in these phones - for this, it is enough to copy the.apk file to the smartphone's memory card, and then open it using the special file manager ASTRO or EStrongs for this program. Alternatively, you can use the special Market program that exists in the operating system (OS), which will help you install an application for this OS from the Internet. The third option for Android is to use AppsInstaller, which can be downloaded from the Internet. It automatically scans the SD card and allows you to download files with the desired.apk extension.
