If you can access the Internet from your mobile phone, then you can also use your mailbox wherever there is a coverage area of your cellular operator. You can work with e-mail from a mobile phone, as well as from a computer, in two ways: through a browser, using the web interface of the mail service, and using special programs - mail clients.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to your inbox using your phone's web browser. To do this, launch your browser and enter the URL of your mail service in the address bar. Many websites have their own mobile counterparts. The addresses of the pages of the mobile versions of sites differ from the usual letter m at the beginning: - Mail.ru - m.mail.ru; - Gmail - m.google.ru; - Yandex - m.ya.ru; - Rambler - m.rambler.ru, etc.
Step 2
Find a link to enter your mailbox on the page that opens. Enter your username and password in the form fields, as you usually do on a computer. Select the checkbox in the "Remember me" line, if required. Click on the "Login" button. So that in the future you do not have to constantly enter the URL manually to enter the mail, save the link to the page in your browser bookmarks.
Step 3
Don't be discouraged if you don't know the URL of the mobile version of your site - use the regular one. Redirection to the mobile version will happen automatically when the page loads. Another thing is that mobile versions are not always convenient to use - sometimes they lack some important functions. For example, you cannot view attached files. In this case, you will need to switch to the full version. Most often, links for such a switch are located at the bottom of the page.
Step 4
Use a client program to work with mail. For mobile phones, as well as for computers, letter collectors are created. These are especially useful if you use multiple email addresses at once. If you create accounts for each of your accounts in such a program, you will not have to constantly go from box to box - the program will collect all the letters by itself. Many modern phone models are equipped with such built-in functionality. If your mobile is not one of them, look for a suitable version of the email client on the Internet.
Step 5
Do not forget that many popular mail services - Mail.ru, Yandex, Gmail - release their own mobile applications. Such programs allow not only reading and sending letters, but also updating the status on your personal page, chatting with friends who are online, using maps, etc.
Step 6
Download the program from the site of your mail service. The easiest way to do this is by going to the page through your phone browser. In this case, you may not even have to look for a suitable application - you will be prompted to install the program version for your phone model automatically. After completing the installation process, launch the application and log in with your username and password.
