Typing text messages on a computer keyboard is much easier than on a telephone. And the files that you want to share are more convenient to store on the hard drive, rather than fill the phone's memory with them. If you are an MTS subscriber, you can send MMS from your computer in two ways: from the MTS website and from the SMS and MMS from computer program. You can download the application for free, and you can send messages from the program not only to MTS subscribers, but also to numbers of other mobile operators.
Instructions
Step 1
Send a free MMS message to an MTS subscriber from the company's website. To do this, go to the page https://sendmms.ssl.mts.ru. Enter your phone number and the phone number of the MTS subscriber to whom you want to send MMS in the fields of the form for sending the message. Choose a message title from the list provided, or enter your own. Write your message text.
Step 2
Select a graphic file from the collection on the site. If you need to send your own picture, upload it to the site by clicking on the button of the same name. Any image no more than 300 Kb in size can be uploaded. A complete list of supported graphic formats is indicated on the MTS website.
Step 3
Click on the "Next" button - an SMS message with a confirmation code of the operation will be sent to your cell phone. Enter it in the field on the page that opens and click on the "Next" button - your MMS will be sent to the specified subscriber.
Step 4
Install the free application "SMS and MMS from PC" on your computer. You can download the appropriate version of the program from the MTS website https://www.mts.ru/messaging/mms/performance_mms/pcm/. Start the installation of the program, wait for the process to finish and restart your computer.
Step 5
Dial the USSD command * 111 * 31 # from your mobile phone. In response, you will receive an SMS message with a password. Enter your phone number and the received password into the “SMS and MMS from Computer” program window - that's it, you can use it.
Step 6
Please note that the program can be embedded in the Internet Explorer context menu. This will allow you to send files from your browser window while surfing the Internet without downloading them to your computer first. It is also possible to create MMS messages through the program interface and through the context menu of Windows Explorer. You can include the program in the context menus by making the transition "Tools" - "Options". In the window that appears, select the "General" tab.
Step 7
Select the file on your computer or in the Internet Explorer browser window that you would like to send via MMS. Right-click on it. In the context menu that appears, select the line "Send" - "Send by MMS".
Step 8
Enter the phone number of the person to whom you want to send a message in the window that opens. Specify the subject of the letter, add the text of the message. Add more files to MMS if you like. Click on the "Send" button - it is located at the top of the program window on the left. If you want to send a message later, use the adjacent button - "Schedule message sending". Set the time and date when this message should be sent. Click on the OK button.
