Most laptops are equipped with a pair of built-in speakers, the output power of which is very low, which means that the sound is not very good and loud when watching movies or listening to music. On the computer market, you can find a great variety of laptop speakers. A common pair of these has a low, but sufficient power to get good sound. Many speakers have a built-in subwoofer for improved sound quality; however, it will be noticeable if the output sound has a high playback speed and frequency. An ordinary pair of speakers can be powered either from the mains or from the USB input on the computer, which allows you to take the devices with you. Also, the mobility of the speakers is provided by their small overall dimensions.

For better sound quality in the mid and high frequencies, it is better to purchase a 2.1 system. It includes a subwoofer and 2 front speakers. Also, this type of system will give you good bass through the subwoofer. Installation, as a rule, takes place through the connection of the subwoofer to the computer; the system is powered through a power source, which makes it mobile.

If you want to get very high quality sound or you like to watch movies with surround sound, a 5.1 system (subwoofer, center speaker, 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers) is suitable for you. Its advantage is that you can get the full sound volume, regardless of the quality of the output sound. This type of system is also connected and controlled via a subwoofer. Do not forget that when choosing speakers, you should pay attention not only to the manufacturer (he must be reputable), but also to the characteristics of the system (it is better to consult a consultant in the store about them).
