Soon after purchasing the main parts of the computer: monitor, system unit, keyboard and mouse - the user should attend to the purchase of the accessories necessary for him to fully use the capabilities of the installed programs. Speakers are one such important accessory, which should be selected based on their quality.

Step 1
If speakers are needed only for accompanying games and workflow signals, then you can choose the cheapest ones, but more often they are necessary for listening to music and soundtracks of films, in which case you will have to pay attention to more expensive audio systems.
Step 2
All speakers are divided into two categories: passive and active. The first type belongs to inexpensive accessories, while active ones are equipped with a built-in amplifier and optional power supply. Using passive acoustics, the user will sooner or later consider it imperfect and decide to supplement it with a separate amplifier or buy a new one, so it is better to immediately, looking into the future, take a full-fledged installation.
Step 3
The audio system configuration has the following designations: 2.0, 2.1, 4.1, etc. These numbers indicate the number of speakers included in it, and the number after the dot indicates the presence of a subwoofer. It is not necessary, but small speakers are not capable of reproducing bass, so only with a subwoofer, the music played will have low frequencies. To achieve a stereo effect, the speakers should be located far from each other, and when buying, for example, 7.1 acoustics, you should follow the instructions for their placement.

The next important parameter is the case material - MDF (pressed wood fiber) or plastic is used for its manufacture. The first in terms of indicators is the closest to a tree, but it is also more expensive, since when using it, the sound is not burdened by extraneous inclusions and rattles. If the choice still fell on plastic, then it is worth buying at least one element from MDF - a subwoofer.
Step 5
Specifications must meet user requirements. For watching movies in a room of about 30 sq. M. there will be enough power of 20 V. There is no need for large numbers, and if the manufacturer announces a power of 100 V for small-diagonal speakers, this is nothing more than a clever advertising gimmick, since such a value is implausible. For a home cinema, 50 V acoustics are suitable.
Step 6
A person is able to pick up sound in the frequency range of 20-20000 Hz, but only professional audio systems can reproduce such a parameter. For home speakers, the optimal value would be 40-18000 Hz, with a subwoofer installed on a low, hard surface responsible for the bass. It is even better when the acoustics is represented by several groups of speakers, each of which is responsible for its own frequencies.
