Writing on jars of spices and pickles or on the spines of folders, marks on boxes with materials for needlework - for everything, it is not at all necessary to use paper and glue. It will be much more convenient to use stickers made with a printer and self-adhesive paper. In addition, souvenir stickers can be made in the same way to please the child with images of the heroes of his favorite cartoons.

Instructions
Step 1
Open any graphics editor you know well, such as CorelDrow.
Determine the approximate size of the stickers you need, as well as how many stickers you want to place on one sheet of the format you need, for example A4. To make it easier for you to deal with this, take a blank sheet and draw on it a rectangle of the size in which you would like to see the sticker. Alternatively, measure the object the sticker is intended for, such as a spice jar. Let's say you need a 5cm x 5cm sticker.
Step 2
How do you know how many of these stickers can fit on a sheet? A4 sheet size - 21 x 29.7 cm. Subtract one centimeter from the height and width of the sheet - they should not be taken into account, since most printers leave margins of about 5 mm from each edge when printing. You will have 20 by 28.7 centimeters left. Divide the remaining width of the sheet by the width of the sticker - 20/5 = 4. This means that you can fit five stickers across the width of the sheet. Do the same for the sheet height and sticker height. In this example, in height, you can put five stickers on the sheet, while there will be 3, 7 cm extra.
Step 3
Create a rectangle in a graphics editor the size of your future sticker. Give the rectangle a thin stroke that is different from the main background of the decal. Design the layout of the first sticker - choose a background, apply an inscription on it, add a picture, if necessary.
Step 4
If the stickers are of the same type, create layouts for the rest of the stickers based on the first one. Copy it and make any necessary changes to it. Or, if all the stickers need to be the same, just copy the layout as many times as necessary. Place your stickers side-by-side for easier cutting.
Step 5
Once the sheet is complete, print it out. Place a sheet of self-adhesive paper in your printer. At the same time, be careful not to confuse the front side of the sheet on which the printing is to be performed and the protective layer, which is peeled off before applying the sticker to the surface. If you have an inkjet printer, then it will not be difficult to put the sheet in it with the right side. Some laser printers, on the other hand, require you to put the sheets face down, as they turn the paper over when printing. If you are printing on plain paper, then you don't need to think about it. But in the case of "self-adhesive", the error will lead to damage to the sheet.
Step 6
When sending a sheet to print, select the desired type of paper in the printer dialog box, that is, "Stickers". Specify the correct format (in the case of the considered example - A4) and the orientation of the sheet - portrait or landscape.
Step 7
Cut the printed labels with scissors or an office cutter.
