To choose the right TV size for your home, which can have a diagonal of 15 to 60 inches or more, you need to know the size of the room in which the TV will be installed, as well as the location of the furniture in the room. In addition, immediately think about whether the TV will hang on the wall, or stand on a stand.
Step 2
If you know the future location of the TV in the room, you can calculate the diagonal of its screen based on the distance from the TV to where you will be watching it. The diagonal of the TV must be selected based on the personal perception of the television image, but if this is difficult for you, use a simple advice: the distance from the screen to the eyes should be equal to 5 screen diagonals. In other words, if the distance from the sofa to the wall on which the TV will hang is 4 meters, then the optimal screen size in your situation will be 81 cm or 32 inches.
