Instructions
Step 1
Remove the stylus. Remove the back cover by sliding it back slightly. Remove battery, memory card and sim cards. Take a small curly screwdriver and unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the bottom. Get the remover from the touch glass replacement kit, it is usually the largest and has an “L” tip. Slowly and carefully detach the bottom from the top around the entire perimeter. To do this, move the housing with the touch glass slightly to the side and slide the clips out.
Step 2
Place the phone with the touchscreen facing down. Take a soldering iron with a fine tip and a power of up to 40 watts. At the bottom, unsolder the touch glass cable, four contacts. Take the puller from the kit, triangle with rounded ends. Carefully detach the upper part from the touch glass around the entire perimeter. Pay attention to the areas with the top speaker and side volume control. Take the touch glass that is glued to the top cover and detach it with a triangular puller around the perimeter.
Step 3
Take a new touchscreen with a ribbon cable. Remove previous glue and dust from the top cover. Glue the glass neatly to it, bringing out the train from the other side. Smooth out any unevenness. Wipe the inside of it with a screen cloth to prevent fingerprints. Insert the main button. Take the top with the screen and wipe it down as well. Place the top cover with glass on the table, glass side down. Insert the upper part into it using a triangle puller. Pay attention to the speaker, side switch and the cable that lead to it.
Step 4
Take a soldering iron and tin the ends of the cable. Use the long stripper from the kit to hold it and solder it to the top cover board. Take a needle and neatly separate the traces of the train. Snap the bottom to the top and screw down with two screws. Install the battery. Put on the back cover and stylus. Turn on your phone and calibrate the touch glass.
