Step 1
To configure your Helwett Packard printer, use the software provided by the manufacturers of this equipment. Turn on your computer and wait for the operating system to load.

Connect the printer to your PC. Wait until the initialization of the new device is complete. Launch your internet browser. Visit the official Russian-language website of the company. After loading the main page, follow the link "Support and drivers".
Step 3
Click on the icon with the name "Drivers and Software". Fill out the search form by entering the exact name of the model of the printing device used. Click the "Find" button and wait for the list of recommended programs to open.
Step 4
Select the language version of the program and specify the type of operating system. Explore the list of applications provided. Select a suitable program and click the "Download" button.
Step 5
After the file has finished downloading, run it. Complete the software installation following the instructions presented in the step-by-step menu. Reboot your computer.
Step 6
If the printer is still unavailable after completing these procedures, add the hardware yourself. Open the start menu. Click on "Devices and Printers".
Step 7
Click on the icon of the printing device with the right mouse button. Select "Use as default". Now open the properties of this hardware and go and make sure all the drivers are installed correctly.
Step 8
Start any text editor. Enter any text. Make sure there is paper in the printer. Press the key combination Ctrl and P. Verify that the printing device is working.
Step 9
Update the drivers through the Device Manager menu if the described method did not help in setting up the printer. In this case, you should specify the directory where you downloaded the files from the HP website.
