Anyone can press the rec key. Most have a device capable of recording. Some people like to do it and shoot all the time. But not everyone has the skills and talent to make a high-quality video.

Step 1
Use quality equipment. Of course, a real genius can make candy even from footage shot with a mobile phone, but still you shouldn't try yourself for strength. The best option is an amateur digital video camera (or even a photo camera) that takes videos in HD format. High Definition means that the output video will be “high definition”: this ensures that there are no large pixels in the frame and clear lines.
Step 2
Work on video footage and editing. Practice shows that you can make something decent out of any video fragments if you carefully edit them and apply the appropriate music - however, you should not forget about the quality of the frames. For example, the worst mistake of the operator can be getting his shadow into the frame. In addition, the amount of light, the aesthetics of the background and the stability of the camera (no shaking) should be controlled. The final video sequence has its pitfalls: the sound should be solid, the rhythm (the frequency of changing the fragments and their duration) should be maintained throughout the entire video, and the sequence of frames as a whole should be consistent and logical.
Step 3
Learn video processing. For a truly quality product, you'll need to master image filters, transitions, and basic effects. The first will be required in order to make the picture more juicy, interesting and integral in the final video sequence. Transitions involve changing frames (fragments). These can be swipes, fades and other kinds of screensavers, which are an integral part of an amateur video (in feature films, this is used less often). However, no movie is complete without effects and intros - at least the opening credits. Therefore, the technology of their production is worth mastering. Pinnacle Studio, Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe AfterEffects will handle all three tasks. They are located according to the complexity of development - "Pinnacle" is the most user-friendly, while the product from Adobe is classified as professional software.
