The most important characteristic of an inverter device is the on-time - the percentage of continuous operation from the total time of use. The higher the percentage of "PV", the more reliable the device and the higher its efficiency.

Pay attention to additional features that you may need. "Arc Forcing" - facilitates welding and improves its quality when working with vertical seams. "Antistik" - turns off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the workpiece to be welded (available in almost all models). "Hot start" - increases the welding current at the first touch of the electrode to the workpiece.

Consider the terms of warranty and post-warranty service. Serious manufacturers give a guarantee for at least two years. The proximity of the service center or the ability to call a specialist will be a big plus when choosing an inverter device.

Resist the temptation to choose a "cheaper" inverter. The price for a good unit cannot be low, it is due to the reliability of the device and its long term of use. Remember - the miser pays twice. Having been flattered by the momentary profit, you can purchase a product that only outwardly will correspond to the products of famous companies. In fact, it will only bring disappointment and unnecessary trouble.
